Did some editing while on a recent plane ride. Definitely can’t wait to start developing all the film I shot during this trip.
No plans for your day? That’s no problem with the new Eternity Mixtape from LeBRON. Almost eight hours of non-stop funk, disco, and soul to cure your rainy day woes.
Surrounded by great music lately. Constantly discovering new jams, and introducing others to some of the greatest 70’s and 80’s funk there is. Kashif definitely made an impact on this industry by not only making music of his own, but producing for artists like Whitney Houston, Melba Moore, and Evelyn “Champagne” King.
Gotta love the classics.
Made the trip down to Barstow for Super D Matsuri last weekend. Got to sleep in an enclosed trailer, and wake up right next to the track. Loud SR20’s and V8’s weren’t the best alarm clocks since people were unloading all through the night. I did get to meet some new people and see some familiar faces though, so the rough night’s sleep was well worth it.
Currently on repeat at the CoolQidsTable. Nothing better than some funk for your day. I’m really starting to notice that all these are just love songs, but I really can’t get enough.
After seeing the John Player Special 635csi at Laguna Seca, I knew I wanted to build a model of a similar car. The long lines and low down stance of the car really make it unique among the BMW racecars of the day. After building the last model, I knew I wanted to get into some of the customizing of the cars. Since the JPS 635 had BBS turbofans at the front wheels, I wanted to do something similar. I tried searching for a 1/24 replica of those wheels, but came up with nothing. I did however find that the BMW M System wheels were made in 1/24 scale. I think this adds a nice touch to the racing aspect of the car. Now on to the next one.
Even though it was my last event with Laguna Seca, I’m glad I got to see some of these amazing cars up close and in person. My ears were definitely ringing after every race. The pure power that comes from these cars simply puts a smile on my face.
