Oregon is definitely the place for color film. With green trees everywhere and awesome landscapes, I just want to return and stay in Oregon.
The last month has definitely been filled with some cool cars. It started with a Fatlace Friday, and their pre-bimmerfest meet at the Fatlace Paddock. It was a fun filled Friday evening with great music, good people, and some milk tea. I will definitely be going to the next one on June 24 for their collab release with Mooneyes.
Next is interning everyday at Mazda Raceway Laguna Seca. Even though most of the work is in the office, it’s nice to venture down to the pits and look at whatever cars show up that day. From trans-am racers to Porsche’s, it’s awesome to see people that share a common love of cars race at the track.
Some film from our Oregon trip will be up once I actually get the prints back from being developed. Can’t wait to share them!
I’ve said it before, but I really do enjoy shooting film. Here’s some coverage of the last Speed SF track day I attended. We tried to make the best out of the stormy whether, and ended up have a pretty great time.
Got some film developed, and I’m pretty happy with some of the shots. I really need to shoot more film and find a place in the Bay Area that doesn’t cost so much to develop.
Getting my prints back from developing a roll of film is one of the best parts of shooting film. Since I am now down in Monterey, I chose a local photography shop to take my film. They definitely did not disappoint, since I was not happy with some of the quality of another place I previously took some film to.
Honestly, there is nothing better than getting film prints back. One of the things that attracts me to shooting film is the mystery of what the shots will look like. Most of the time is very satisfying.
Recently got my prints back from a roll of film I had developed. Very happy with the results of some of the pictures. This is exactly why I love shooting film. Shooting it, then developing it without knowing what your image will look like. It’s very rewarding when they come out looking like this.
Recently got a roll of film developed, and I’m super happy with the results. This makes me want to shoot it even more now that I’ve found a place to develop my film in a quality manner.
