After seeing the John Player Special 635csi at Laguna Seca, I knew I wanted to build a model of a similar car. The long lines and low down stance of the car really make it unique among the BMW racecars of the day. After building the last model, I knew I wanted to get into some of the customizing of the cars. Since the JPS 635 had BBS turbofans at the front wheels, I wanted to do something similar. I tried searching for a 1/24 replica of those wheels, but came up with nothing. I did however find that the BMW M System wheels were made in 1/24 scale. I think this adds a nice touch to the racing aspect of the car. Now on to the next one.

Some of the fujimi german cars have turbo fans in the kits. The mercedes 190e definately has them and I’m pretty sure the mercedes coswarth has them too. Might be handy for if you decide to build another version. This one turned out sweet

I actually did not know that. Thank you for the info! I will definitely try to look for some of those kits.
