Chrome Industries, in my opinion, makes some of the best bags on the market right now. I have one of their messenger bags, and am still using it after four years. This is one of their camera bags, the Niko Messenger. It is the middle size of the three camera bags they offer. It is the perfect size, not too big and not too small.

The bag is made in house at their San Francisco store by a very crafty lady, her custom work is out of this world. The material is water proof and can take a real beating. Even the zippers are designed so nothing can get into the bag to damage the precious cargo. The top compartment hold snacks, or anything you can imagine that you’ll need while shooting. The main compartment is meant to hold all of your camera gear. The space is fully customizable for any set up, it can hold two bodies plus three to four lenses, depending on the size. The underside flap has a storage place for batteries and memory cards while being very compact. The side of the bag offers two straps for a tripod, and we all know that they are a pain to carry by themselves.

The bag is very easy to slip on and off, and can be swung to the front to access lenses with the flick of a wrist. One of the employees at their San Francisco location gave me some pointers, and said that the bag could be brought to the front and used as a stabilizer to get those zoomed in shots.

For $120 this bag is a steal, it combines everything in one to allow for minimal weight and bulk. The strap also allows for even distribution across the body, not putting all the weight on one side. If you are in the market for a new bag of any sort, definitely check this out.
