John’s Integra has to be one of the coolest DA racecars ever. Since many people don’t use the DA chassis, it’s nice to see a change. John has been my friend for a good ten years now and I have seen this car transform into what it is today.
The car sports a B20 engine out of a Honda CR-V, pushing about 145 horsepower. Some may say that that isn’t a lot, but on a 2100 pound chassis it gets the job done, and then some. The car is also equipped with Koni Race coilovers, NSX Calipers, ASR rear subframe, Buddy Club wing, high tech headers, and a Bride racing seat.
He races the car at places like Thunder Hill, and the most recent, Laguna Seca. When at Thunder Hill the car can push a low two minute lap time, very fast for what it is.
I’m very excited to see where this car goes.
