I’m not super knowledgable about old American muscle, but I can’t help but appreciate the beauty of this car.The lines, the small details, the smell, pictures don’t do it justice. This Impala had been tucked away in a corner, sleeping under its car cover for a very long time until the owner decided to pick it up. I’m not 100% sure, but I believe Mark was storing for a good friend of his who worked at Nike.

I guess the car conjured up a different feeling since it was the only American classic at the Paddock. Being surrounded by all the nice Japanese and European cars at work makes me appreciate classic American cars a little more. Seeing the Impala move and hearing it start reminded me that American car companies once dominated the automobile industry and you can tell through the quality of cars from that era.

I hate to sound cliche, but what they say is true; “They don’t make cars the way they used to.”
